Create a conversation between a 911 operator and someone with an emergency using the three examples given on page 44 (Activity C).

Answer the following questions.
1. Health insurance is important to many people. Do you believe it is important to have health insurance?
2. Do you believe health insurance should be free for all citizens? And who should pay for it?
3. Is health care free in your country? Who pays for it?

Introduction: Briefly write the main idea about this movie and why you chose it.

Body: Write details about the movie. What parts of the movie were appealing to you?

Conclusion: What is your general feeling about this movie and would you recommend it to others?

Class Celebration Dec 2010

Students,

We will have our yearly holiday class celebration, Thursday, December 16, at Weaver Library.
This is a potluck party. This means all students and teachers will bring something to eat or drink. I ask that each student bring a dish or drink, usually made in their native country.
Every year we have many types of food to eat, from all over the world. It's very international.

You may bring guests. Please let me know if you plan to bring more than one guest.
